這首歌在聽的時候只覺得是在敘述有性別認同障礙的人的歌。
然而細看歌詞後，才覺得the script真的很厲害，把他的心境寫得很糾結，有很多無奈的層面。即使自己的父親能接受這樣的自己，但困在社會批判的眼光下，他依舊無法接受內心是女生的自己，痛苦而扭曲，縱然打扮成女生的過程讓他非常快樂，他仍把這件事當作是秘密，用盡生命來掩蓋最真實的「她」。
不僅如此，歌詞中還巧妙地在第一段使用女性的第三人稱，而不是男性。還有'Cause no one believes that she was born this way and heaven knows that God don't make mistakes, no這句話讓我想到某些宗教會說同性戀者有罪、上帝從不犯錯等等的，所以他們在這邊寫了「天知道上天到底會不會犯錯」這歌詞下得太好了啊!!!
(這邊我不談任何宗教問題，因為我不是信這個的，況且各方論點都有，所以謝絕任何跟我討論這類問題的留言)
(p.s.)2017年最後一天~~想想自從The Script宣布世界巡迴演唱會有台灣場時也過了快兩個月了~最近只覺得很操勞，身旁的人不carry，只好自己延攬很多重責大任。所以現在每天都在倒數寒假的到來，雖然寒假要唸書準備檢定就是了。相信寒假翻譯歌詞的效率應該會更好吧(笑
